Honoring the body through the artful integration of somatic practices.

I’m Annie (she/they).

I’m really glad you’re here.

I help folks resolve their trauma and attachment wounds and return to the essence of who they truly are.

My clients share many of your struggles. Despite giving traditional talk therapy their best effort, they found they reached a plateau and are yearning to heal on a deeper level.

They experienced trauma in childhood, lived with difficult parents, and tend to blame themselves. Some are survivors of trauma later in life—surgeries, car accidents, or sexual assault, for example.

They have difficulties in relationships due to the imprint of early caregivers and find it challenging to trust, communicate their needs, and maintain their boundaries.

Some experience chronic health conditions or pain syndromes and are frustrated that the medical community doesn’t understand or know how to support them.

They are intelligent and dismayed that they haven’t been able to fully heal. Some are highly sensitive, have difficulty with sensory integration, or have been diagnosed with ADHD.

They feel like they’re too much, not enough, and don’t fit in. They are anxious and depressed.

They find they’re living in their heads, disconnected from their bodies. They’re often overwhelmed by emotions and stress and turn to food or other substances to cope or numb themselves.

Before they began working with me, they feared that the life they were living was as good as it gets.

That deeper healing would remain out of reach.

This doesn’t have to be the case.

I specialize in cutting-edge somatic approaches to working with trauma and attachment wounds.

Because the effects of trauma are stored in the body, working with the body and nervous system gives us direct access to your resilience and  potential.

With somatic (body-oriented) therapy, my clients learn the tools for healthy attachment in relationships, improve their capacity to tolerate big emotions, and feel at home once again in their bodies.

We can go beyond talk therapy.

You are resilient.

I would be honored to work with you.
